My quilting  journey first began over 20 years ago when I started making rail-fence quilts together with my daughters, aged 10 to 14 at the time, which were finished by being tied rather than quilted.  I progressed to projects being quilted using my domestic  sewing machine or by hand.  Then I discovered the world of opportunity using a longarm quilting machine offered.  It  was a game changer that provided the means to finish quilting faster, with a multitude of creative options for stitching designs and thread choices!  Longarm quilting was something I could envision myself doing during retirement from my fulltime job as a Project Manager that could feed my need for being creative, my love of learning, and further developing my existing skills.

Eventually I purchased an APQS Millie longarm quilting machine, computerized with a tablet and Quilt Path software, and became APQS Certified.  The software included a good selection of designs, which I continue to expand thru purchase of commercially available designs and using the CAD feature to design some of my own.  Computerized operation of the longarm allows designs to be stitched with precision, accuracy and be sized for the individual project.  All quilting is supervised to ensure quality is maintained, bobbin thread gets replaced when it runs out and any other issues are identified and addressed along the way.

I have set up beestitched quilting services so I can use the quilting knowledge and skills I have developed along with my long arm machine and quilting software to help others complete quilting of their projects.  Let me help you magically transform your quilt tops into quilts by finishing them, so you can move on to other projects on your to-do list.
